Noob question:
For all my calculations the answer is displayed in fractions. How to change the default display to decimals? I'm sick of hitting the s<-->D button.
Thanks

If you're using a fx-9860 you are probably using the Linear input. To change to Math input do the following:
- Press SHIFT
- Press MENU (Setup)
- Press F1 (MathIO)
- Press EXIT
This should solve your problem. If you are running a different calculator, you can't do this.
If you already have the Math input and the result is still given in decimal, you can't do anything. You have to type S<->D.

Magnum,
Thanks. I'm using fx-991es, but following your suggestion i changed math setting from Math0 to Line0 and it seems to be defaulting to decimals. Relief.
cheers
aside: I can't imagine who would want a setting that displays: 2.25 + 3.164 = 2707/500. not impressed, casio.
