Some new smilies are added (you must have noticed), and the stupid "I With Stupid" smilie is removed according to genesis' suggestion to prevent further confusion.
(as if we don't have enough lol smilies :rlol: )

the version 2.0.1 final.
We also added a new sub forum called hot topics. Interresting/Hot topics
with a lot of posts get moved there from the FDF for quests to read.
Guests can also reply there. This will give us more participation in these
discussions.

Hello to all.
Survey stats showed the administration team that you guys want a bigger ucn with more services and more features.
Currently, behind the "iron curtain" of the admin boards, the administration team, along with me and killer (old timers) are working on preliminary plans to revamp the Universal Casio Network.
Changes being discussed:
- File Sharing Redesign.
- News / Article Systems.
- Expansion of Board Topics [ To include more Casio Products ]
- A Homepage with an easy access to important information.
- Expansion of our services to provide a wider technical support base.
Everything is still in the planning stage, and work has not begun yet. Please expect to see changes coming your way soon! (We hope there will be no down time), and you will have the professional and reliable 2072 working on server related issues - so no worries!.
What you can expect for, and get ready for (if you want)... the UCN will be hiring a few new admin's for this project. The fields for which we will be hiring have not been fully decided yet, but some potential ones are: "Public Relations", "Web Design/Scripting".
More information will be posted by the admin staff as soon as these positions become available.
I will try to keep you guys informed over time, as significan choices are decided on.
Enjoy,
Simon Dobretsov

1) The forum rules link on top of every page (below the UCF logo) now gets you to our actual rules. Please READ and OBEY them.
2) We have a new tutorial section where tutorials will get posted to by admins or mods.
If you think you have a tutorial that is worth adding there then don't hesitate to post it in
the main forum with the title TUTORIAL: <name> where name is the name of your tutorial.
If it is found worthy it will be added.
Please remember that there is still the award field in your profile that needs to be filled so
if you contribute a lot then we might give you an award.
If anything does not work as it should in the tutorials please report it to me (or just click on "REport Post" below the post)

Time for some news again.
First thing is, that the board has been updated to 2.1.7 by 2072. Cheers and thanks to him!
Second is a change in the administrative staff. You surely have noticed, that CrimsonCasio has been
quite inactive on the board for more than a year now. He has always been a great help for all members
and was our most active member. However, he is not active enough to do his business as an administrator.
Because of the things he did for the whole community and this board in special, be it in advise or in his hosting services on earthforge, and because we all came to like him verry much, we want to honor him
by moving him to the legends group. Because this is what he is. A true legend.
This will remove all admin powers from him, but ensures, that he can read EVERYTHING that is going on on the forums.
So thank you Crimson and please do visit us from time to time.
On behalf off the admin staff
huhn_m
Note: This action was decided by the admin staff with an open vote and all voted for yes (including Crimson himself)

lot of time to upgrade the forum software to version 2.2.2.
There are many new features so feel free to explore them
If you notice any new problems with the forum feel free to report them
On another note I want to welcome The_AFX_Master to our moderator stuff.
We have promoted him to a moderator since we think that he is a reliable
member capable of the job

I've also change the default forum skin to a new one
This version must fix a lot of little issues.
If you discover strange things, please report it in the Bug/suggestion forum.
Thanks,
2072
