i have a FX 5800p and it is now 3 years from when i bought it.
the proble is that recently when i push the AC/ON button, the LCD just blinks but the device is not powered on, i must press the ON button many times so that after many tries it powers on.
what is the problem ? any similar issues reported before ?

Have you tried replacing battery yet? Is the battery compartment clean of leakage? Checking out battery and compartment may help.
