Hello, I'm looking at buying a 9860II or 9860 Slim, coming over from an old HP calculator. Could someone tell me if the 9860s always go to the "main menu" when they are powered on?

I was planning to use Reckon's RPL program since I'm used to HPs. I would like to be able to turn off the calculator and then back on, still running the program without having to go to the main menu.

I searched the forums but couldn't find anything....this is probably too basic of a question (and the manuals don't say anything either).

Thanks in advance!

Turning it on/off is a non-event. You end up just as you were :-)

(Memory persists to flash memory on newer models)
