CP300 is better than the AFX (for most things)
TI 89 and above are more advanced
HP48/49 are very nice tools, specially for applied mathematics

The answer to that would have to be......CASIO, TI, OR HP!!! What's the best car, which are 'better', pears or apples?? If I could read your mind and know what your definition of 'best' is then I might be able to help, unfortunately 'best' is hard to quantify without more information.
So I'll just say Casio in my opinion (I won't explain why).

HP48/49 are very nice tools, specially for applied mathematics


HP48/49 are also good for games :) There just aren't as many (they're good though).
