Ive been wondering about the return statement on the classpad, it adds a space after it when you select it from the menu, making me think that it accepts a parameter... but it causes an error when I put something after it. anybody know the reason for this, its not mentioned in the manual.

Sorry it dosn't have relation with this topic but....

How much ($) is the classpad?

Other question, have you finished your basic tutorial? I'm interested principally on the matrix and list part.

I go to office depot to see the calc. prizes:
AFX 2.0 : 189.21 dollars (thats so expensive)
Class pad: nobody sell it in all the city (in al the nort west zone of the city):(

Here its difficult buy one graphic calculator, for example i work and my salary is 33.11 dollars at week, but i want to buy the classpad because i have saved $400 US dollars (thanks to my effort and one gobernment scholarship). I e-mail the Casio people of Mexico city in order to see if they me can sell a classpad, bud i dont think so.

Bad news for me (i need a cry emoticon for this):

"Casio online shopping, products and prices are offered to United States residents only. Casio ships product within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Casio cannot ship to a Post Office box address, territories, addresses outside the United States or APO/FPO addresses" :(

But i dont understand the second paragraph of this link (shipping info):

I think that it depends from the expectative that casio users offer, i dont know. I bought the AFX 2.0 13 months ago in about 175 US dollars, and today I go to the same shop and the same calculator have a new prize, 200 US dollars, here in Mexico the difference between both prizes is about 6 days of work with the minimum salary :( .

Its like: when people buy the product, it acquires more value because the offer is more great.

holy crap, you paid $175 dollars for a AFX?!? I got mine for $30 right when it came out! I should note that it cost $120 but was at half price with a $30 rebate :D . but still you got ripped off, right now I could go to office depot and get one for $90.

yeah, I know what you mean, I stayed in korea once... though I think things in mexico must be better than there.

oh well, send me any programs you make and I will host them... if you do write a program you will be the second person to make a program for the classpad and you wont even have one  !

To betoe: doesn't any company distribute Casio calculators? Why do you want to buy it with net?

To CrimsonCasio: if you had known about today AFX prices, you'd have bought more of those $30 calcs and sell them for e.g. $100.
Am I right?

To Endi: I try to contact the Casio official distributor on Mexico city but they don't reply me. I try in Casio USA but they don't ship to Mexico. The local casio store sucks (they only sell watches).
I try on the e-bay filial of Mexico but anyone sell that calculator. I will try on Terra for last.

To Andy : I try to download the Classpad emulator but my web connections is very slow, i will try later. I think that crimson must have that emulator, ask him.

you have no idea how much I wish I had thought of that at the time :( ... however where I live no one wants a Casio so the wouldn't have bought it anyway, but if I had know about this forum at the time I could have made good money selling AFX's to those of you who cant get them!

right now I'm helping rjstephens get an AFX, hes saving up to buy one then he's going to send me the money so I can get him one then I'll send the AFX to hime since casio wont ship to austrailia... if that works out good I might be able to do the same for some one else.

By this way you can help a lot of casio users to acquire a new calculator, sending by example by DHL . In my city (by the way its an turistic port, beautiful beachs...) people dont want casio calculators, they expend their money buying pacifico beer , and there are a little bit of models to buy (and too expensive).
