Hi All expert and Grun of Casio

I just bought a fx 9860g for my electrical professional examination.
I need to hndle complex number matrix. Can any one of the members or Guru assit:-
1. Can this calcualtor handle complex number (e.g. 1+4i) calcaultion such as inverse and mutiplication, e.g. 3x3 or 4x4 matrix.
2. Is there any proven program which I can download and run? Where and How?
3. I need your help urgently becasue the examination is coming.



Any one can offer some pointers or guide me to the rigth direction.

The forums aren't very active, so it might take some time before you get a reply. Sadly, I don't know the answer since I do not have an fx-9860.

Hi andrew, I am moving your post to FX section. The FX-9860 can do complex number calculation and up to 999x999 matrices. I'm not quite sure what you mean about tried and tested program, but the file sharing has a lot of programs. Also, please don't double post (just bump it)

i sure that you use old OS
to check your OS version hit below keys:

MENU' /> F4' />
the latest OS version is 02.01

you must upgrade your OS for use imaginary number in the matrix ; for this go to http://edu.casio.com and upgrade it
