In equations, how do you calculate all x values in a second/forth degree function?
For example: If I go to solver and make it solve x^2=4 it only says x=2 and does not show that x is also -2.
Is there any function on the Casio that is similar to the T.I "frac" function?
What the "frac" function does (from what I've understand) is that it converts an allready rounded decimal number, to a fraction.
For example: frac(0,33) shows up as 1/3 on the calculator.

Hello!

in the Solver you should specify Lower & Upper limit to get right answer
for your example(x^2=4) first time you must set Lower = -100 (for example. it's guess) and Upper = 0 (you see that i specify negative confine) to get X=-2
and second time set Lower = 0 and Upper = 100(it's guess; you see that i specify positive confine this time) to get X=2
in other words Solver search between Lower and Upper limit to find answer.
