Hi there,

i recently got a fx-cg10 and i love it.

I use the solver a lot at work (electrical engineering formula's). Two most common ones are inductor (X=wL) and capacitor (X=1/(wC) impedance formulas (w=2*pi*f). I search for all variables so solver is very useful.

anyways, I'm looking for a way to save these formulas and recall them later on so I don't have to type them over and over again.

I found out that solver lets me recall functions only entered in the graph page.
there is another funcmem feature in run-matrix mode (only shows up in linear mode). I didn't see a way to bring this funcmem in the solver page, though.

any ideas/recommendations?

thanks,

I'm using os 01.03.0200.

you can use function memory(1-20)
for save a formula in the function memory:
"X^2-1" [->] fn1

for input fn1 hit:
<span class=OPTN' /> <span class=F6' /> <span class=F6' /> <span class=F3' /> (FMEM) <span class=F3' /> (fn) <span class=1' />

then go to solver page and hit right arrow key in the front of Eq:
then hit:
Posted Image Posted Image <span class=F1' /> (FMEM) <span class=F2' /> (RCL) <span class=1' />

RCL=means Recall

above key work on the fx-9860g os 2.01 you may need hit different keys
to input above command. but i know that OS's in the fx-9860g and fx-cg
are very similar.
