Hey Guys... Having a darn problem with my FX-9860G SD

I had not been using it from a long time.. and recently switched it on.. it showed up "OS error, PLEASE UPDATE OS"

I followed Casio Website and downloaded the update 2 Or somthing like that which is available in the download section..

But even After Applying that update.. It still shows the same darn error :banghead: :profanity:

A lotttt help needed.. please tell me if anyone knows about that....

Additional: I can't access the menu, neither any thing else.. cuz the calculator is not running .. whenever i power it on.. it displays the error until i take the Batteries out

Could you provide more information on everything? What version is the OS? What error do you get when you try to install? Can you describe the process you used to install the OS?

Umm Bro i don't know bout the OS version that was installed before... But All i know is that i never did updated it or something like that.. Lol i din't even know that this funky thing has this kinda fun too

well now to the point
My uncle bought me that, and i used it for sometime... Then i stopped using it cuz of no sorta need.. then recently had tried to switch it on. and when i inserted all the batteries it showed "os error...... pLease update os"

I downloaded "fx-9860G OS Ver.2.01 Update.exe" From "https://edu.casio.co...load/class.php"
and tried to install it,,,
on my pc it always is showing normal update things like "sending", then "updating"
and on the calculator is shows "now updating os"
after the process in completed on the pc
the calculator again gives the same error "os error...... pLease update os"

I hope u got what i mean.. had been tryin to update it from 3 days and 4 nights.. Lookin about that in google.. but no use :'(
