Is the PLUS version of the 115/991/570 a significant upgrade over the non-plus version?

What are the differences?
Is the default answer format show decimals now (floating-pt rather than fraction form)? Because that was really annoying me with the FX-115ES, having to always press F->D. So I got a TI-36X Pro instead.
