a better investment would be an algebra fx2.0, but if thats not an option I'd go with the 9750 unless you really want color graphing (mostly used for games ).

Casio ClassPad 300 is better than Casio Algebra FX 2.0 Plus !
But Casio Algebra FX 2.0 Plus is cheaper than Casio ClassPad 300 !

I would buy an used Algebra FX 2.0 (don't care for 2.0plus - you can upload the newer software) - many people after ending school (or it's strong math part) are selling their calcs.
If you cannot buy an used one - than buy the cheaper calc.- at school you won't do anything sophisticated and at home you can use PC programs like Derive (or something newer).
If you like games - there is only one choice algebra FX (any version) - C/ASM games are a lot faster with very good looking graphx.
Roe.

i own a fx 9750G,and its great for maths and engineering, and im perfectly fine with playing tetris in B+W!
although i would suggest a FX 9850 because of the colour screen.
i have had my calc for 2 years now and a few weeks i did think about buying a new one (Algebra FX 2.0) but i decided not to as my calc can do evereything i need it to do.

the color screen actually slows things down (important for games), but on the other hand it makes games look much better.

I think the best for you its AFX 2.0, because the capacities of expansion are great. You can use it for fun (very good) and its better if you like programing(you can in Casio basic, Turbo C and ASM).
I entertain me learning the options and uses of the calculator.

One year ago one sister of a friend buy a CFX 9850 GB+ in $100 US dollars on Mexico city. Thats the best price in all the country. And I buy the AFX 2.0 in the only place that sell graphic calculators in all the city, Office Depot, the prize was $175 US dollars. The last week i went to office depot to see if they sell the Classpad, and the anwser was no, but the AFX price was $200 US dollars. <_<

you know, someone could make a lot of money selling calcs to you people that cant get them, and they could sell calcs at cheaper prices than you could buy locally.

Buy one FX 1.0 or one FX 1.0 Plus, you can use it at school and they have all the AFX software
