I have upgraded my fx-9750GII OS version 02.01.0700, to the Fx-9760GII OS version 02.01.0200
The upgrade has definitely worked as the version OS displayed under the system menu has changed to 02.01.0200

The upgrade details say that the input display will change to textbook display, but there has been no change, (yet everything else, such the menu options, has changed).
I've tried restoring it to the original fx-9750GII OS and then re-upgrading it again, but again everything changed except the input display.

This was the download that I used and followed:

Any help would be seriously appreciated! :)

Sorry, I had to remove your link because it was illegal, however, I can tell you how to get text-book display:

Goto Run-Mat mode. Press <span class=Shift' /> and then press <span class=MENU' /> to get to the setup screen. Use the arrow keys to select "Mode: Linear". Press <span class=F2' /> to select "Math". ;)

Not illegal; it's just that google doesn't like it.

This is, to use your analogy, like taking a nascar, and removing the plates that prevent it from going above a certain rpm. It's perfectly legal, as long as you don't race it (or in this case, distribute the modded OS).
