Hi to all. I come from Italy, so I hope who I'll not write too much bad...

I've a problem, I need fast a calculator that support text files; I found these two model only, and I can't search again (because no time):

1 - CASIO fx-9860GII SD

2 - CASIO fx-9750GII

Are they both OK? I saw that fx-9860GII model has SD's slot, but I'm not sure about it can read file texts, and if yes, what text files type can reads (I think txt...).

I saw that fx-9750GII hasn't SD's slot, so I think that haven't enough memory... And I don't know if it can reads text files.

I need the calculator for the text files only, so the other differences aren't important.

Please write me back soon, because I need to choose very soon (today...).

Thank's very much.

casio fx9750 only support txt files if you "hack it"...

the better for you is a casio fx9860GII SD (non sd also can read txt's files, but have less memory... with sd you can read txt's stored in sd card)

you can also bought a casio fx cg20 (casio prizm), 15mb memory, color screen and can also read txt files

These are the only available, so I can't.

Thank you again.

EDIT:

I've a problem on my new Casio Fx-9860GII SD:

When I try to read the text files on SD card, calculator show an "ERROR" message. Before who I turned on it, I just format my microSD (512 MB), on FAT32 and after I put it in a SanDisk SD adapter.

Is the problem near these things, maybe? Support it the adapters? How many memory maximum support (2 GB)? It needs a particular SD?

Thank's very much again.

It showed "CARD ERROR". Now I've format the card with the calculator, so I'm not founding the error yet! :)

Must I load the files with CASIO's program? Because now the calculator find the text files near the SD, and I can copy they on main memory, but I can't read they!!! :banghead:

How can I read the text files??? Please help me guys!!! :'(

Thank you!

After find it, I'll charge it on memory and then will I must install it? How? Calculator'll see it as a new application automatically?
