Hi everyone,
Is it possible to take the free sources from "Xcas" ,a C++ computer algebra system, and make an add in for fx9860gII ?
could someone try? we would have a very very powerful CAS on our fx9860gII !!!
It would be great for the Casio comunity !

How large is Xcas?

Hi,
Xcas is about 32Mo big but it has very large graphical part (3d,2d...) that we don't need on the fx9860gII(we already have it except 3d)
and the calculation part (factorisation, simplification,diff,interg...) should be very small ,about 0.5Mo.
Xcas is very powerful, we should make and add in of it(only calculation part) !!!!!

Hi,
If some one want to make this very, very, very powerful CAS using the C++ sources from Xcas,
go on http://www-fourier.u...compile_fr.html and click on "frozen" you'll see, it will download the sources from Xcas !!

I have Xcas's sources It is now possible to make a new CAS
sources:

Xcas is too big. Let me look how difficult the XtremeCas is.

I'm asking Xcas programator to only give me the "CAS" part, the one that makes diff, integr, fact ... it should be about 0.5Mo !
