Google has failed me, so I figured I'd post up a quick thread here.

I'm currently working on some trivial integration and differentiation problems. I've gotten a few values I'm going to have to substitute in for x in the original function I'm currently working on.

Now, the original (non-integrated, non-differentiated) function is ungodly long with a lot of square roots and what not, and I have to substitute in several different values for x. Instead of spending 4 hours writing everything out, is there some non-graphic function I can use to substitute in different values of x in a function?

I'm using a Casio fx-9750G PLUS calculator.

I already tried RUN > OPTN > CALC > Solve(function,x value), but I keep getting Ma errors. I'd guess this is the function to use, but I can't get it to work.

Any pointers?

I know it's already late to answer, but anyway welcome to UCF!

I think you're looking for simple function defining. On classpad it's like define f(x)=whatever... but I don't know on fx; maybe other guys can help you on this.
