I tried to integrate cos(x)^-2 from 0 to pi/4 but the result was MA error.
It is interesting because much cheaper model fx-991 es plus gave me the correct answer which is 1.

The equation can be seen here
https://www.taschenr...KIPRO_gross.jpg

the OS is version 2.00, the angle was set to RAD.

I tried on my hacked 9750gii Os 2, It resulted in Math Error as well, but when you do ( cos(x) ) ^ -2 It results in the correct answer 1

What your calc thinks your trying to do without the extra parenthesis is:
cos (x^-2)

Thanks, using of the 2nd set of parenthesis solved this problem.
But the basic question remains (at least for me), why is the behavior of 9860g and 991es plus so different.
