Hi,
If you own a ClassPad 300 with a white sticker on the back, please take a look at the inside of the cover of the battery compartment and tell me the numbers printed there.
Some examples:
3M104A 08530
3M105A 22130
3Q11012A
Later ClassPad 300 models got engraved numbers on the back like these:
G430-32 P111243 3Q10923A [Revision 2003-2 with some ICs removed] G430-41 P008860 5Q10614A [Revision 2004-1 with OS 1.24 preinstalled]
Early models just got the device number (on a white sticker) like this:
A117783 [Appears to be revision 2003-1]
And this number is not very useful as it does not contain a production date. The battery compartment numbers seem to encode the year and month at least, but I need more numbers to confirm this.
Now you might ask: "How can I read the production date?"
Here is a small how-to:
3M105A <- 2003-05 4Q10708A <- 2004-07-08 7Q0510 <- 2007-05-10 362AW1ZMA078163 <- 2011-12 xxxxxYMxxxxxxxx Year : 2008..2017 Month: 1..9, X, Y, Z
