I've been asked this many times, how to use the Casio fx-9860G to convert degrees, minutes and seconds to decimal degrees and back, so, follow these instructions...

 

Convert D M S to decimal degrees

1. Press OPTN

2. Press F6 (>)

3. Press F5 (ANGL)

4. Enter degrees then press F4

5. Enter minutes then press F4

6. Enter seconds then press F4

7. Press EXE

Convert decimal degrees to D M S

1. Press OPTN

2. Press F6 (>)

3. Press F5 (ANGL)

4. Press F6 (>)

5. Enter degrees

6. Press F3 (DMS)

7. Press EXE

 

Try the above by converting 136.2591667° to 136° 15' 33" and back.
