Hi All,

 

I'm a hydrographic surveyor and have been using FX603P since long long time ago.

Recently decided to retire my old calculator and upgrade to the fx-FD10Pro.

 

I thought it'll be as simple as the fx603p...I was wrong.

The MinXX is gone, an I have problem understand how this new calculator handle its memory ;-(

 

Can someone help me convert a simple program as below :-

 

“Polar to Rect” PAUSE “Stn/E?” HLT Min01 AC “Stn/N?” HLT Min02 AC LBL1 “Bearing?”GSBP10 Min03 ’” PAUSE AC “Distance?” HLT PR MR03 = Min04 XY Min05 MR01 + MR05 = FIX3 “Easting” HLT AC MR02 + MR04 = FIX3 “Northing” HLT AC GOTO1

Found the anwser myself.

So now the alpha numeric have replace the MinXX :-)

 

I've loads more to learn ;-\

Could you tell me the installed OS version of your calculator?

 

Just go to the SYSTEM menu and press F4.

The OS version is displayed at the top and looks like "xx.xx.xxxx".

So, up to now, there is no updated OS on newer models.

Much have change since the 603P.

My 603P came with a booklet of program...

Since when did casio run on OS?
