So I am thinking of getting a casio fx-6300g. After looking through the manual I can say it's a pretty impressive little calculator but there is one thing that bothered me - I couldn't find if this calc can do logarithms with any base (not just log10 and ln). I would really appreciate any information.

Can A Casio Fx-6300G Do Log Base N.

You don't need that functionality:
logab(2,8) = log 8/log 2 = ln 8/ln 2 = 3

Yeah, I know this formula but it's useful to have the function built in. On the other hand I guess I can program the calc to do it.You don't need that functionality:
logab(2,8) = log 8/log 2 = ln 8/ln 2 = 3
