Following the manual, Fib series shown using Ans+PreAns. PreAns shown as alpha Ans. Pressing that sequence has no effect,
Keytop markings don't show it either?

You need to have something stored in preAns first.
I'm assuming Ans is the answer to the last equation and preAns is the answer to the 2nd to last equation.
So I think you have to press 1 first and then the = or exe button, then do it twice.
Then type in "Ans+PreAns"
It should then do
1 + 1 = 2
1 + 2 = 3
2 + 3 = 5
3 + 5 = 8
