I want to know which is the fx-9750G mircroprocessor, I only know that is manufactured by NEC, that is much slower than a SH4-A, and the power consumption is very low for today standards (0.06W max the fx-9750G vs 0.35W max the fx-9750GII SH4-A).

I think that has the same processor as some CFX, due to the same power consumption and the same period of time.

Thanks in advance,

Regards, Frank Martínez.

Algebra FX seems to use an NEC V30MX: http://community.cas...nec-v30/?p=3010
Old Pocket Viewer models used an NEC V30MZ: https://en.wikipedia...t_Viewer#Models
Martin Poupe has some info on the CFX CPU: http://martin.poupe....o/rom9850g.html

I stumbled upon this: https://github.com/m...es/cpu/hcd62121
"The Hitachi hcd62121 is the custom cpu which was used in the Casio CFX-9850 (and maybe some other things too)."

Perhaps some interesting strings in the AFX firmware:

"T-Note BIOS v0.60 (Revision 1.10)
Copyright © 1996-1997 CASIO, Inc.
NEC V30MX tm ZX-950  11/28/97"

"Boot Failure: ROM-DOS not found!"

"You can't initialize REAL mask rom."
(Hint: RM-ALGEBRA FX 2.0 uses flash chips and no mask ROMs thus the OS can be updated.)
