I can currently get a good deal on a FX 2.0 and cannot find a FX 2.0 plus available to myself in Australia.
I can however get a HP49G. I would rather get a Casio. Could people please advise on the pros and cons on the three. Thanks.

Does there exists a FX 2.0 (plus)? what are the differences to FX 1.0 (plus) and AFX 2.0 (plus)?

49G has a lot more features, AFX has more games and software available. The AFX is also a helluvalot easier to use, a lot faster, and has nicer keys. IMHO, the 49G is a lot better for applied math and engineering, if you don't work in these fields get and AFX.

Well the AFX2.0+ has less memory available for C/ASM program, for example the game Scorch cannot work on these calcs unless you use ShineOS.

I can not speak for the HP-49g but I own the best model before that , the HP-48gx, and I love it. Just a few days ago HP released an HP-49g+. If I were you I would certainly wait to read the reviews on that thing before I decided. You can find out all about it at the UseNet group comp.sys.hp48 or I can give you the specs if you dont want to wade through it all.
