Hey Guys,

I am trying to do some simple trigonometry in the spreadsheet application of the FX-CG500.

I am trying to do COS(120 degrees) and I am returning a value of -0.309. I cannot get the correct solution no matter what way I manipulate the equation (Degrees to radians, radians to degrees etc.)

What am I doing wrong? Can we use trig functions in the spreadsheet application?

Thanks

Having ClassPAd II I tried two ways how to calculate your example and I didn't notice any problem.

the1st way:

I set the calc to rad mode and I inserted to the cell following expression (without quotes) "=cos(120°)", the result is -0,5

the 2nd way

I set the calc to deg mode and I inserted to the cell following expression "=cos(120)", the result is -0,5
