Dear all,

Would it be possible to calculate the standard deviation of a set of data with many repeated values (e.g. 100 1's, 60 2's...) quickly (instead of calculating via standard deviation formula) with the calculator CASIO fx-991ES?

First of all turn the Freq On to display the Freq column.

Use stat editor in Stat mode for this task. Insert value into column x, frequency into column freq and run the stat calculations. See the examples on the pages 16-19, especially example #055
