I tried it and the calculation history is lost. See the UG, page E-19 which types of memory are not cleared.

You can store the calculation history in the programs.

 

I use Comp mode since there is no normal mode there.

I found the following online, in the user guide of the fx-50F Plus:

 

"Calculation history records are all cleared whenever you press p, when you change to a different calculation mode, and whenever you perform any reset operation."

 
But, what I need to know is if anyone tell me if the fx-50F Plus (or fx-50FH) have memory safeguard so that after it powers itself off you can turn it back on and still scroll through your calculation history in Normal Mode?

I always have to carry a TI scientific calc with me, along with my Casio fx-991MS because I need memory safeguard in a lot of instances when working a lengthy problem.
