Switch to Linear input mode (Shift+Mode, then select Linear). These calculators erase the result in Natural VPAM mode to free up the screen space.

Hi I wonder if anyone could help me. I have an exam coming up and my calculator just started doing something odd that it never used to do.

The answer to a calculation is disappearing from the display as soon as I press any further buttons. For example if I press 2 + 2 the display will show 4, but as soon as I press + again the 4 disappears. If I press 2 and equals it will then show the correct answer as 6, but my calculator used to show me the 4 on the display right up until the = was pressed, which I much preferred.

This sounds like a minor thing but it is really annoying when I'm typing in anything more complex, and when I'm under a time pressured exam I want to still be able to see the answer I'm doing further functions with. I have been using this calculator for over 10 years and I've never had this issue before. Can anyone help?

Many thanks

Clementine
