Hi everyone.

Any comment the forum regarding the new Frech version of the calculator Casio GRAPH 35+E II with Python?

Anybody has one?

Looks awesome. I suppose C.Basic can also be installed.

Ok CalcLoverHK. This is marvelous. I forgot to check it up on Sentaro's site.

Does this calc have the same hardware as FX-9750GII?

@siealex
No, this calculator is equal to the high-tier, newest Casio international model: fx-9860GIII.

Casio has changed their production line in France. There are currently only three models selling in there: Graph 25+E (fx-7400GII), Graph 35+E (fx-9750GII) and Graph 90+E (fx-CG50). Original Graph 75+E (fx-9860GII) has discontinued in 2017 and migrated with Graph 35 series. That's why Graph 35+EII, to be more accurate, is more like Graph 75+EII.

Just few days ago, Casio clearly mentioned fx-7400GIII, fx-9750GIII and fx-9860GIII in their website and made the manual covering all of them. What I find more interesting is that fx-9750GIII is no longer the cut-down version of fx-9860GIII. Instead, it is almost identical to fx-9860GIII. The only difference of them is that fx-9750GIII has the new output option: Math/Mix. It allows Natural V.P.A.M. display, but do not allow the calculation result with square root and pi. I guess they want fx-9750GIII to be allowed in some exams.

Are they hardware-compatible? Will it be possible to flash a 9860Gii (SH4 version) into a 9860Giii?

Like MathIO/LineOut in ES PLUS series?

@siealex

Are they hardware-compatible?

Yes, except the Graph 35+EII has exam LED while fx-9860GIII don't. This is not a big difference at all though. (Maybe)

Will it be possible to flash a 9860Gii (SH4 version) into a 9860Giii?

I'm afraid that you cannot. This would probably require lots of time to dig and fix the hardware differences of both calculators, even if their ROM size is the same.

Like MathIO/LineOut in ES PLUS series?

Yes, probably.

hi

can I use the CASIO SDK (C toolchain for SH3/4 + CASIO linker scripts and misc) released for FX9860GII to create applications for the new FX9860GIII? What are the hardware differences between these two models? It's not clear to me.

Thanks
