Hi there,

 

when I switched my Classpad II cp400 on again after a while, the display only showed lines. Also a reset or the exhaustion of the batteries did not help. Does anyone have an idea? Here' how it looks like as video and as picture.

 

The YT-Video v=QuiJxEGkFHA shows a repair with the hair dryer. But probably my device has another problem?

 

Does anyboda has an idea how to fix it?

It is probably malfunction of the LCD driver LSI or  bad connection between the main board and the LCD unit.

If warranted, I recommend that you submit for maker repair.

Oh, can I take a look inside to check the connection? I tried to get in, but the body seems to be stuck together?!

If your warranty is still valid, I DO NOT recommend opening and checking inside around which may be a good reason for CASIO to refuse repair at free of charge.

OK, now you can do whatever you want.

Just for sure, heating up and pushing may be good to recover adhesion of flexible flat tape (from LCD) to main board.

Please do not give heat too much.
