I recently picked up a Casio fx-991cw because IT looked interesting. I like it.

I noticed that it has 23 digits of internal precision. After checking a few calculators, it seems most Casio calculators use 15 digits of internal precision. I have also seen it generating more precise answers on numeric methods. Even most of the programs on my computer is limited to float64 which is approx. 15-17 decimal digits.

Now, I wonder if there are any new Casio calculators on the horizon.

At the moment, Casio has announced 2 new calculators for the French education market: the Graph Light and Graph Math+. In short, Graph Light is essentially an fx-991CW with graph function and will replace the current Graph 25+E II (= fx-7400G III), while Graph Math+ will be the successor of Graph 90+E (= fx-CG50). Both calculators are parts of the Classwiz family.

Indeed, the Graph 90+E is being replaced with the Graph Math+ for back to school 2024.

And it's been confirmed today, the great fx-CG50 is also being replaced but for back to school 2025, with the fx-CG100 :
