Hi all! I'm new to the forum and fairly new to Casio calculators.
I just picked up a 9800G at a garage sale with no manual. It doesn't start. All three batteries check OK. Any tips?
Thanks,

i think the CFX-9850G (not PLUS) only need 3 batteries to run.

Hi guys! I got it running! Uses two AAA's and a coin cell. The ones I found in it checked good. Not quite sure what I did to get it running as I had taken the batteries out and put them in two or three times before it started up. Found a pdf file of the manual on the internet. Now all I have to do is learn how to operate it.
The latter will be a trick, as I've picked up two programmable Casios, a non-programmable scientific Casio, a TI-83, an HP 48GX, and an HP 38G at garage sales of late. All after I shelled out for a new HP 49G! This will make a diverse lot to figure out how to operate and all in the middle of an unrelated project that will keep me tied up until the end of September.
Fun! Fun! Fun!
