gosh, I advise serching the forum, theres lots of info and it would take forever to try to condense it all here. congrats on receiving your new calc!
:rockband:

one peice of advice, use the add-in installer to put sysxplr on your calc, then use the user made stuff like flashcom.

I can't help you Andy, but i wish i had a AFX. However, even if i did get one, i couldn't use it in Australia, as they aren't allowed into the TEE exams (end of year exams (grade 12)). I think it's because of the large mem it has.

You can put GComm v0.86b or v0.85 on your AFX by using Flash100 v1.24 ( ONLY v1.24 ) :hammer:
And congratulation for your new calc ! ! !
:rockband: :D :P  :)

you shouldn't need to use flash100, flashcom should work. do you have the AIP2? if not get that from the casio elite site, it will allow you to package things in any format you want, so you can use any program.

also, I wouldn't worry about gcom and flash100 just yet, get used to the calc, then use those. for now stay simple with flashcom :)

Know that sysexplorer have bugs, you may not be able to launch some programs...
Flascom is bugged too, you may have a lot of difficulties to add an Icon to your main menu.

I advise you to take the package of TOUCHE and use Add-ins installer with the .cfx, it will add an icon to TOUCHE after you'll be able to use Flashcom and launch programs using TOUCHE's explorer.

About Flash100, maybe wait for the new release because it's rather difficult to use right now...

@2072 i found a bug in Touche 4.00 Beta 1:

Start Touche -> B (EXPLORER) -> Launch TEXPLORER.EXE (same that came with touche). Now Press F5 and you can'T
exit the menu anymore (ESC).

It shows the folowing error:

Executing :
  nosplash
ERROR while executing
: No such file or dir
ectory

Check it!

huhn, feel obliged to mention that the term is "thread" not "threat" threat is a suggestion of violence (or similar)... we know what you mean, but I dont want you to be missunderstood

also, you need to remember what mohamed said. (not that I dont sympathize...)
