I wanted to update my old Casio fx-9860G from 2005 to OS Ver. 2.01 and all I'm getting is "Error: Update Failed".
I followed the updater's instructions correctly and the original USB-cable seems to be working. The calculator's OS version is 01.05.0000, so it's probably from like 2005 or something. I'm using Windows 10 64-bit (upgraded from Windows 7). I even tried to use a different laptop with Windows 7 and compatibility settings for Windows 7/Vista/XP on my laptop, but the issue is still there.
Does the updater not support 64-bit operating systems or is the problem something else? This has been quite annoying and I'd just like to get my old calculator updated to the final OS version...
