Linking Different Versions

I am considering buying an algebra FX 2.0 and would like to know if my 9850gb-plus(which is already full of programs of my own experimenting) can transfer files to the FX 2.0 and if the FX can run the old programs.

It could run 70% of them.
The other 30%, you would probably have to change some syntaxs (a little, don't worry) like ViewWindow, Eng ...

editing the files is no problem for me, also, i had no idea that the FX was capable of C or a similar assembly language. Thank you, i'm saving up now to buy one, i've got about 40 dollars so far, though I don't work, i'm thinking about a part time job.
