Even the minimal graphics version of SuSE includes the make package.

I don't know what you did that it isn't installed.

Login as root and start yast2 from there.
Insert your CD/DVD and go to Software->Install/Remove software
No choose search and search for the term make (also in Descriptions).

The package needs to be seleceted (an X) and press install to continue.
No make should be installed.

It's not too difficult.

we'll it's not that hard to get suchs stuff. You don't nedd to know
a certain site. You could simply download it at KAZZA but this
is ILLEGAL ad I really don't udnerstand it since you could get a free trial
and only need to reinstall it after it expired and this would NOT be illegal.

don't use kazza that is full of spywares and adwares, use Shareaza that is a freeware with no spyware, adware and multi network compatible...

choose the expert mode and look in the 'Network' Icon (on the right of the top main toolbar).

It takes time to find good servers, btw you shoudn't use Gnutella 1 network, it's useless, use only Edonkey and Gnutella 2.

What is your internet connection?

d'oh! 2072 suggested shareaza before i got there! oh well, it can be slower to download some files, but if there are about 5 or more users per file, then you get quick downloads :D

==EDIT==

also, the more 'neighbours' youi are connected to, the better!
