just wondering why the free discussion forum is hidden from non logged in users?

Ahem, cough cough, errr ....
Well, huhn thought (and still thinks obviously) the pictures topic is private and it shouldn't be seen by any visitors, so no free discussion to guests as they would only need to view the main forum which was the reason they came to this site.
Maybe I shouldn't have opened that pictures topic, but well, do you have any objections so we open it again?
I would ask huhn_m for a permission though.

i do, i think the FDF doesn't need to be seen by visitors, as it has no casio related content in it.do you have any objections so we open it again?
