The new version that is available now, 1.20, haven't solve this problem yet. :( Before, I download it from : www.classpad.de site, but later, they put it down. There is also a "Spreadsheet application".
Now, you can ask for a free CD that contains OS update and Spreadsheet at the site: Classpad in euro.
They say that they will give you a free CD ROM. :)

New bug : judge(1/(1/x)=x) returns TRUE, although it is undefined (try with x=0).

Hi.
About the bug that Pem said: I tried with x=0 by the "With symbol". It gave TRUE :( . However, if you try this, it give "Undefined":
judge(1/(1/x)=x and x=0).

Bye :)

Hi out there!

Ever tried to get the intercept of three linear functions?
Please define the following:

y1=3x-2
y2=(1/2)x+3
y3=4x-4

As you might see immediately they all come together to
have a party at point (2/4). Now try to find that out
by plotting those three lines and than
using "Analysis"->"Graphical Solution"->"Intercept".
The cross finds some points at the bottom and on the
left of the display, where the line "leaves the display",
however it doesn't find the wanted point. Isn't that
bad?

Sorry,

it's no bug, when having plotted more than two functions, you have
to select two by hitting EXE.

in fact, the integral of 1/(t-a) is

ln |a-t| = ln |t-a|

ln (a-t) is correct if a > t
ln (t-a) is correct if t > a

They will give you the CD. I asked for the CD too, and they sent it to me. Now, I receive it. A beautiful disc box and a beautiful disc.
I was amazing and surprised because it is the first time I 've got something from outsite my country. Casio make their customers feel that they are respected. Hope that they will make more software and send it to us. :)

**** This thread is for reporting bugs, not discussing problems of errors that might be caused by bugs ****

-- EDIT --
Note as well, there's a difference between bugs and errors...
Errors are notifications of something that went wrong
Bugs are something that went wrong, or does not work, without giving the user any notification of the problem

I looked at it, i may very well be a bug, if the programs are exactly the same there sould be no reason for this error...

-----EDIT-----
BitWhise: bugs can cause errors.

That's fine, but the discussion part should not take place in this thread.. it's already getting bloated..
This was ment as a quick look-up for bugs on the CP, and to keep track of fixes that might appear in later OS releases.
Discussion must take place in individual threads. Post here when you are _confident_ that you have found a bug. ( "Bug Reports" )

-- EDIT --
@Crimson: Ofcourse bugs can cause errors..

ok... how about we split the thread, or complile the bugs into a list in the first post, that would be the best for looking things up, then discusion of the bugs could be done here.
also, a standard format for bugs could be done:

Finder:
Rom Versions:
Cause:
Effect:

That sounds ok (listing in the first post), although it involves extra mod-work, and would make for a messy thread if several problems are discussed simultaniously (I'd prefer problems have their own thread, and bugs are reported to this thread when they are certain to be bugs)

Lets do this:

- bugs can be introduced and discused here
- all bugs will be compiled in the first post with this format:

Finder: (name)
Bug Name: (a name for the bug)
Rom Versions: (all rom version its been confirmed on)
Cause: (how to reproduce the bug)
Effect: (all effects, including any error messages)
Work Around: (how you can get around the bug)
URL: (link to the topic containing discusion about the bug)
*Related Bugs: (if any bugs seem to be related to each other we can document it)

- After discusion of the bug has ended the topic will be split, making a new topic for the bug.

also, we can deleat all the unnessicary posts after this has been done. (including this one)
