Hopefully their manager is worth it's code bloat, if not I'll have to get involved.
The Add-In Installer casio put out for AFX put me in business

however, people have already managed to get programs to their classpad without the add-in installer or the SDK... so I forsee no problems in that area

SDKs are usually not restricted to language..the language will be C++
just because the provided tools and headers are designed to interface with one language doesn't mean you can't use another

that would be like saying windows api programming is pascal (just because the kalling convention used in many api calls are pascal

And the only code that is interesting is the binary code that runs on the processor. All the stuff around this code is extra data for the os. (Like the Win32 PE-Executable Format)
so if someone want to use an programming lanuage that is not supported through to developers of the sdk. he (only) needs to write his own libraries, dlls (or what else is needed)
