I've got AFX ROM ver 1.01 and a "Polish" cable (that is produced by a polish Casio distributor - Zibi, and seems to be different than other cables). Flash100 wasn't able to correctly detect the cable, but after manually configuring to SB87 @ 38400bps. I didn't test your program with gcomm yet, but I am sceptic as it didn't work with other PC side program.

BTW I suggested some time ago to include an upload counter for each drive (numbers should be remembered in a config file) that would count all uploads ever to given drive.

Roeoender.

Roeoender thanks for your test !
Your upload counter for each drive it's a good idea :D , but if you have 2 (or more) calcs yous must change the counter value.
I think that the data must be saved in external file (not in project file or F100 settings), and change it for each calc.

I may be include in F100 1.30b12

Note : Currently, Flash100 doesn't work correctly with Windows XP. I search the problem...

This version is better than the older one I used to have, but it didn't work with GComm v1.00.
About the new GComm, I'm sorry to say, but it looks clumsy, the older one was a lot sleeker and had a much better font, besides, when are there going to be an English GComm? :)

F100 work with Gcomm 1.00, 1.01 and 1.10.
Choose the correct protocol (Normally 4 protocols are listed (Casio, GComm v1.10, GComm v1.00, ...)

For GComm v1.10 :
GComm loads 'Font' by the file 'FONT' in zone system (zone 3, cf. memzone of 2072). If the file is not found, then GComm uses the default Casio font.
For install this file, use 'RFinstal' for open the file FONT.RFI (include in rar file).
This system allows to share data and install easily flash data in RAM. ('FONT' for GComm and my "D?mineur" and others programs in future).
An RFI file contains one or several RAM FILES.
You can create an RFI file with plug-in RFIntall editor in F100 1.30b11.

RFInstal : http://teamg100.eart...de=other&type=0

In final version, GComm v1.10 will be available in French and English version.

Currently, I work on Flash100 1.30 <{GNULINUX}>.
But, F100Console (no graphical version), will be available in 5-10 days, and support all GComm versions (from 1.00 to 1.10).
OS supported by F100Console v1.20 : Win9x/NT/2K/XP/2K3 and <{GNULINUX}> (you must compile sources for <{GNULINUX}>).
F100Console and Flash100 share the DLL Protocol. (.so files on <{GNULINUX}> ;) )

Flash100 1.30 doesn't work on my computer. I've got Windows XP so I tried the path for XP but it didn't help. $|

When I run Flash100 my firewall says that Flash100 trying to act as a server (WHAT FOR???!!!!!! :profanity: ). Then however I allow for it or not program stops with an error.

It's pretty strange, don't you think?? <_<

I have Qt enterprise license and I have Qt source.
I found the problem, it's located in XP theme and I have corrected it. (I think that your problem is WindowsXP theme).
F100 runs on my "WinXP SP1 Pro" and 3 "Win2k SP4"

New compiled DLL: (normally XP theme is OK :D )
http://g100storage.f...00/qt-mt321.rar

It's not Ok :(
Try this:
You can try with "Win2K emulation mode".
"Win2K emulation mode" allows to select Windows theme and not WindowsXp theme.

You can also create the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Flash100\Flash100\OptionWindow\Style = "Windows" (run regedit).

you could right click on a shortcut to the prog, and in Properties > Compatablity, select "Disable Visual Themes", that will stop XP using its cooler theme, just make the app look like a win98 app. :)

when will Gcomm 1.10 be translated to english?

EDIT:

now that i have started using Flash100 & GComm, i have a suggestion for Flash 100's Menu Editor, well three suggestions actually:

1. Grid on editing an icon (enable/disable option)
2. Zoom in (2x, 4x, 8x)
3. Undo & Redo

these would be great improvements :D

I installed F100 for <{GNULINUX}> without any problems. Program run fine. Everything looks great but it doesn't transfer files to my calc  .

I use Fedora Core 2 and I've got AFX 2.0 ROM 1.01. I'm afraid that the problem is in my cable. I've got the same cable as Roe:

"Polish" cable (that is produced by a polish Casio distributor - Zibi, and seems to be different than other cables)

and I had lots of troubles with it even in Flash100 1.30b13 for Windows. I can only send files using Casio protocol. Gcomm doesn't work with it. Unfortunately receiving don't work in anyway (so I have to use FlashCom to receive).

Can you help me??

BTW I'll try to make a new cable. Is this scheme: http://www.casiocorn...=article&sid=14 ok??

Under windows you can change the cable type. (In options window). "Auto" mode doesn't work correctly with certains cables.
Under <{GNULINUX}>, I use routines of Serial 1.2 by Whyp. (Cable setting is ignored)

Edit : With GComm protocol change speed transfert (in F100 and GComm), 115200 bps is not supported by all cables. (Choose 38400 bps like CasioProtocol, GComm will be faster than Casio Protocol :P )

I always use cable type SB87 because otherwise it doesn't work absolutely.

Ok, now GComm works on low speed (but it's faster then it was). But it works only under windows. I tried various configuration in Flash100 under <{GNULINUX}> but it didn't helped.

Do you kwon any really good scheme for casio cable??
