Standard:
  • Community Service Award - This is awarded to people that have done something truely special or important for the UCF. Having one of these automatically entitles you to consideration for Legendary status when you "retire".
  • Helpfullness Award - for people that go out of their way to help others.
  • Special Service Award - this is for people that preform a service like translation for UCF members, should only be given to people that do it consistantly.
  • Competition Awards
  • Nice Guy Award - self descriptive, for people with extreamly amiable personalities.
Unique:
  • none atm...
Standard Awards (with the exception of the competition awards) will be given out on the same day every year, probably December 1st. Every member in good standing is elligable for an Award. Awards are give out at the sole discretion of the Admin, though we may allow nominations and votes on some awards as we see fit.

Unique awards will be given out as the Admin see fit, they might be for anything.

Good luck everyone. ;)

Hmm, this sounds like a cool thing. It will actually promote the qualities that these awards are for. That is a good thing. :)

Im glad you all like it :D
suggestions for awards are welcome if you have any.

also, it may end up that getting awards may result in extra abilities on the forum. basically, the more awards you get the more likely the Admin will be to do you favors...

What about a middle guy award. Everybody is praised for doing something special and condemed for doing the wrong thing. What about something for those who don't stand out as much. Although I don't know what it would be.

nice thought but I think we'd have quite few of those ...
Lets see ... maybe you'll get one :)

.. nope just a joke ... it's not such a good idea. If we give out awards for everything they wouldn't be special anymore. If you are a "middle guy"
like you call it, you'll have a 0% warning level and no awards. Thats it.
Also having no awards doesn't make you normal. You are also very valueable to the whole community when you have no awards. Its just that
we can't give them out to everyone.

I'm thinking about a real special "Most Noisy/Bugging/Provoking Member" award, these people must deserve an award. <_<

we considered that but decided aginst it, if there are any hard feelings generated by the awards then we would prefer they be directed at us instead of other members.

He looks like a spam promoter (look at his signature links). Just there to increase the google rank of the sites in his sig.
