SDK is a programming package lets you to write and develop specific applications. A company who has made the device, will provide the SDK.
If you can make something, you can let others to develop it. No??

I am letting students/teachers know the calculator (many of them are used to other brands) and one thing I tell them is that CASIO *will* release an SDK soon. If we dont know exactly when, can we know some of its features?: will it offer C++, ASM, Pascal prog capabilities? Will we be able to test the programs with a debuger and the CPManager? Will it be composed of command line tools only or will it have visual tools also?
Thank you!

Hi Griott,Softcalc, where can I find this public anouncement by CASIO?, I'd like to put a link to it in my web page.

I think the SDK will be released very soon. I cannot say exactly when because schedules always changes slightly, but I can say *soon*.
As fas as features, the main programming language is C++. The SDK has a graphical IDE and a debugger that runs under Windows. It also has a full help file, programming guide, tutorial, and a hand full of example projects.

as for months i think its reasonable to say that casio is padding their time, every company does this and casio is very strict about anything it offically releases.
