to CrimsonCasio,

CUANDO INTRODUZCO LA INTEGRAL INDEFINIDA : X^2TANGENTE (X); LA CP FALLA.

means

When I enter a not defined integral, the classpad fails.
This integral is X^2TANGENTE (X).

to Jhonatan,

S: Realmente algo incorrecto sucede.

E: Really something incorrect happens. I do not know why, is not perhaps possible solve this integral. There some nondefined integrals that we cannot solve; One of this is int(e^x^n). I will try I solve it with mapple.

--------

I tried solve the tg(x) integral. The CP solves it very fast. In the other hand, if I establish the limits (I used 1 and 2) It takes a lot of time to solve it :( somebody knows why ?

I think that is one integral that calculators cannot handle  :banghead: , most probably it will be solved using some series expansion, about classpad taking a lot of time to evaluate the definite integral most probably is because after substitution it tries to simplify the expression

the radian mode has nothing to do with the integral, if you set to degrees, the integral is the same differing only by a constant coefficient

--- i don't see how we can EASILY calculate the integral :P so i don't think the cp would know how to do it
