I would like to know if anyone knows what program you can use to make an add in for the Algebra FX 2.0. A better question is what program did you use to make an Algebra FX 2.0 add in.

the afx runs 16bit x86 compatible code.
first you'll need a compiler to compile you source into 16bit binary.
a 16bit c compiler, like borland turbo c should work. or a 16bit assembler (like nasm, or tasm)

next, you will need to build a drive file (you can only transmit "drives", which are 128kB in size). this can be done with flashcom, flasheditor, flash100. use the same program to transfer the drive to you calc.

later you may also be able to make your own rxe files, in which static data will stay resident in flash memory, leaving more memory available for your program's work area.

There are further options, but I hope that, and all of this will be addressed in the FAQ section

I don't know any specific assembler for the NEC cpu, but there they probably have one.. I mean, they sell the CPU, they have to supply an assembler with it. However, you could make your own macros for use with the Nec cpu.
Casio probably have one, in their in-house developement tools, along with a Nec optimized C compiler or something

Like I said in my E-mail you are going to have to know how program to make add ins unless someone takes pitty on us and creates such a program (beg beg beg).
