The CFX 9850 GC Plus is on my school booklist for next year, but I can't find any information about it on the internet. Does anyone have any information on this calculator? All I've heard is that it has 64 KB of memory and no program library. Is there any point in getting one, or is a CFX 9850 GB Plus sufficient? I also have a HP 39 G Plus with 200 KB of memory, so storage space isn't important. We are allowed two calculators in exams.
Also, does anyone know anything about the FX 9860 G AU, even though I can't use it (approved for 2007)?

time to throw away the hp and upgrade to the casio 9850.
9850 is a fantastic calculator. the absence of the program library only means it is up to you to write your own programs. the casio language is so easy and versatile you will actually enjoy writing your own programs. this will set you apart from the hp users that need their hands held when it comes to calculator programming. find these very cheap on ebay.

Hmm... several people have told me to throw away my HP. I'm just using its large memory for notes, in addition to my existing 9850 GB Plus, which I use for programs. However, both the 9850 GB Plus and 9850 GC Plus have the same good programming language. Is there anything that sets apart the 9850 GC Plus from the 9850 GB Plus other than having 64 KB of memory at the cost of no program library and more money?
