I was wondering how you do the derivative (d/dx) on the casio fx991MS. I dont know how to put an "x" value either. For example, how would i calculate the derivative of say, 5x^4? Can u do second derivative as well?? Thanks for your help

in 991MS you can find only functions with definite variable.
For your question it like:
d/dx(5X^4,2) =~ 160

5X^4 is your function and 2 is your value which is definite.İf you want the solve the function like 5X^4=20X^3 you must buy AFX2.0 + OR classped300. that is CAS plug in
