I bought a Casio PV-S1600 Pocket Viewer/Organizer. I am unable to install the driver in my PC. I have XP with SP2. and USB 2. What I did so far is as follows:
As told by the manual, I installed the applications first (came with the CD) and then connected the palmtop, directly to the USB port (not thru hub). Windows recognized the new hardware (as CESG502 USB) and I opted for ?automatic? installation. It failed....Then I tried manually, by specifying the location of the driver. Both failed resulting an error like this
?An error occurred during the installation. The system can not find the file specified.?
Then I went to windows inf directory and deleted those two files, uninstalled all the things I installed from the CD and tried to connect. Again the same problem. In the Casio ?http://world.casio.com/pv/download/en/ ? site, the driver is not available (or didnt find out).
For the time being it looks like I did a bad investment . Somebody plz help.
Did I post this in the wrong place/forum? in that case, plz tell me where to ask, coz i didnt see any forum for PV-S1600.
Thanks in advance,
Jay

Hmm, this sound like it could be a problem with the CD. Try copying the contents of the CD to a folder on your C drive and try the installation from there.?An error occurred during the installation. The system can not find the file specified.?
