Why is it that none of the UCN hosted websites seem to work?
is it just me that experience this, or is the hosting down?

Probably they are.
I have a mail address @casiocalc.org, then two days ago I recieved a mail from Simon giving me a message from IEEE headed to me.
I don't know what caused the my message to go to him.

I haven't been able to acces casioelite, and cicabsoft for a long time, weeks or even months

Sugestion: have your sites in two different hosts at the same time (i usualy do that)

Next time someone should inform me a bit earlier ... 
I dont go around visiting casio sites making sure they work, and i assumed that both of them work, since the main site does!

ITS all fixed now. Problem was with the Alias, it was changed from /~xxx/ to /xxx/. So the pages weren't being directed correctly
