Hi!

Is there a way to type normal complex polar calculations to the screen. I'm talking about like 23<40. 9860 can do that. There is a angle button, but i don't see the same button on afx. There is a i-button what is nice, but i'd like to input calculations in polar-mode.

Hi Tero,

There doesn't seem to be such a feature.

However, you could you use the exponential function as long as you use radians


e.g. 2e2i is radius 2, angle 2 radians


and

23e(40*pi/180) i

is radius 23, angle 40 degrees

Also, if you use the setup to put complex mode as re^@i
then the calculation results will stay in this form.
