How can I clear one variable in basic programming? it's not a numerical program, so I can't use CPlua. For example in mathematica I can write Clear[a], it clears variable a. Clear_a_z clear all one letter variables, I only want clear variable a.

Do you mean a Command in context of a program?
If not, I think you can use Variable Manager!
